Monday 11th October – bike *** – Sunrise two rivers – sunny and cold.

With sunrise this morning at 7.13 I decided to get out on the bike and head down to the seafront leaving home just after 6.30, it was very chilly and I made a mistake not putting my gloves on! There was a nice red sky as I cycled towards to The Fludgers with the usual large number of open water swimmers. Around to The Dip the sun appeared as I reached the River Deben. I had a quick snack at Felixstowe Ferry before returning the same way but carried onto the view point at Felixstowe docks, then home via Langer park for a very welcome warming cuppa! The lovely weather continued all day, sunny, warm with light winds meaning I could do my exercises in the back garden. Then we visit an old friend for the afternoon which included chocolate cake:)
